Working at microeconomics group in Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics (SBE).


(A quick UPDATE): as of 2018, I am working at the Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development (INSIDE) at the University of Luxembourg.  A new website is under construction (and a new photo, I promise).

B.A. degree in Economics from Bogazici University, and a M.Sc. degree in Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University. Acquired my masters degree under the supervision of M. Remzi Sanver in 2007 and my PhD degree at Maastricht University under the supervision of Bettina Klaus in 2012.

Until February 2014, worked on NWO Open Competition-400-09-354 project about Ideological Distance and Democratic Decision Making

Until January 2018, worked on NWO VENI project, about Policy Design in Dynamic Matching Markets.

Between 2016-2018, worked as the academic manager of the Thesis Internship Program (TIP) at SBE masters students practice their academic skills in finding innovative solutions in businesses via an internship. Students can get further information via the intranet here.
